M51 was around for a number of years. What did yours come from?

I'm someone who considers diesel to be the fuel of the devil, so have little experience with cars powered by said fuel, but the E34 was, like the E30, a BMW design that had the engine wiring loom completely separated from the rest of the body looms, so I would expect the wiring to be essentially the same as fitting a M50 into an E30 - battery + (red), battery - (brown and/or brown/orange) and then blackyellow (start), green (ignition), and green/purple (pump) in the C101, plus the single EWS wire.

Anyone local to Edinburgh that could possibly have a look. I think the issue is the Ecu does not correspond with the 993 pump I have .
