No I just tackled it as I came to it, their construction is very simple really. I had a mate to help me, some bits can be hard to get back together from memory
but if there is a seat repair guide I guess follow that!
Hi Laith
I have just done mine and it wasn't a problem. I purchased the OEM direct from BMW (64 11 9 061 223) and managed to get a discount so it was 236 for the complete kit. They also printed out the installation instructions for me which I still have - if you need me to send a copy just let me know.
The install was quite straight forward and there are walk throughs if you google I didnt take any pics sorry. The main loom just plugs straight into the accessory block behind the GBox and runs down the left side & under the seats. Centre handbrake trim needs to come off and be cut for the switches. With the seats I stripped one down and took out the bottom panel but to be honest you dont really need to - the pads will slide in without needing to strip the seat completely.
Give me a shout if I can help
Good luck

I'd be interested in the instructions. Could you scan them so that they can go in the wiki?Althoros wrote:Hi Laith
