Anyone know what the weight is of a fully dressed M20 & also M30?

The toyota 7M engine I am considering for a banzai jap transplant is 200kgs fully dressed with the blower etc.

Would be a bit nose happy don't ya think?

Maybe not, That could be the weight of just the engine! I didnt get a change to weight it right! :mad:

sr20det is the s14 engine, theres a few differences between the 14 and 14a engines, s14a has variable valve timing, 14 doesnt, the 14 engine has an egr, the 14a doesnt

thanks Simon, I couldn't believe the weight of the Supra lump in comparison but that explains it. There's a safe 30kgs+ with alternator, PAS pump, starter motor, not to mention inlet manifold.

Just to let you know i had my M30 touring on a wiegh bridge and it has only gained about 30kgs.

A 325 touring is supossed to wiegh 1270kgs, mine wieghed 1320kgs, 20kgs was stuf i was carrying like amp/water/fire extinguisher(SP?)/ETC.

I also had nearly a full tank of petrol.

Straight up, thats what it wieghed, witnessed by at least two zoners at Donington Park, Demlot(Andrew), DawieM3 and i'm not sure if DaveTouring saw the the wieght though ?
