There's a switch incorporated into the outside door handle. Does this switch have any effect on it?

If the delay is OE, there should be a switch! Delay unit won't work without it, or if it's connection isn't bypassed.

i assume the switch is located on the door handle; in relation to the say door heater too??Brianmoooore wrote:If the delay is OE, there should be a switch! Delay unit won't work without it, or if it's connection isn't bypassed.
im going to try and get my interior delay to work as well; can hear my unit click! but the lights just go ON or OFF; no fading rellly?!
yea mine dont fade they just stay on for a few secs. sometimes!!! lol i will have the handles off and take another look. i hear the click in the passenger foot well so i know i have it.
My car is a very unmolested example so nothing will have been bypassed.
I'll will let you know my fidings. Thanks for the help.

My convertibles the same. Sometimes the delay works, sometimes it doesn't. There seems to be some kind of pattern to it but I havn't had a chance to try to work it out.sam325is wrote:yea mine dont fade they just stay on for a few secs. sometimes!!! lol i will have the handles off and take another look. i hear the click in the passenger foot well so i know i have it.
