Hi have just bought a convertable from Lars idid not notice till i got home that it has pre facelift painted chrome bumpers front and rear surly ot being a 1990 car it should have the later ones or did this not apply to the convertables.

convertibles were all pre facelift! so all is good with Lars car :D

Wrong Neil! :tongue:

The convertibles were facelifted but it was around 90/91 when the E36 came out, probably as BMW realised if people were buying the old model they'd at least want the facelifted version of it :)

You will, but you'll have to modify the rear bumper to go as pre- and post-facelift rear arches are different

Thanks again for Zayyan, does anyone know a good place to buy a new mohaor hood and possible prices.
