Dont know if this helps but i just got a superb quote ,
Im 30 but have 2xDR 10 , 1x CD 10 , 1xSP 30 and they gave me fully comp for Ԛ£355 and only Ԛ£70 excess.
Ask for a classic policy and tell them your from the zone , the policy also gives you free track day cover !
I bet Priveledge dont do that !
I am with them at the mo but will deff be changing .
The company is called HIC on 01279 506090

Hope you get a result mate Jibbers :D

i sure have mate, it's not so much the no claims they are looking for its the 1 year experience that they were more interseted in TBH. teh no claims jsut lowers the cost.

Ah I see, thought it was NCB they were interested in.

If it lowers the cost though I've been told there's a few companies who'll give you a year's no claims automatically the first time you insure a car in your own name if you have Pass Plus.

Probably not useful to William though, unless you're not insured in your own name yet...

I'm pretty sure it was my instructor who told me; cheers for backing me up though, my mind's at ease knowing he didn't just tell me that to get paid for doing the Pass Plus :)

Instead of waiting if you have the money you could buy a tatty 325i with some T&T, maybe get rid of a bit of unneccessary weight and just ring up to insure it on days you feel like driving it.

Then you'd have 4-pot economy and something for the weekend as well, and you'd be living the 6-pot dream (well, kinda) :D

Probably sounds pretty stupid, but just an idea
