Looking at the angle from roof to boot tip (which the car would rest on, if up turned), I was wondering about potential for survival for all passengers, esp rear passengers. If the windscreen pillars bend, then everyone is fecked????

Pretty much! The ones in the back definately ain't gonna be happy
Windscreen surround's a lot stronger than in a tin top though for that very reason tho, & I can't remember the last time anyone was in the back of mine. Well I can, but I don't think it was likely to roll then...

Wondering what prompted the question.
Are you thinking of driving up a ramp at 60mph+ and doing a flip a la James Bond?

Rolled a golf gti 3 and a half times into a field. Coppers came, really concerned "You ok, you ok," etc etc. Saw the badge, change of tone..... "Going a bit fast were ya....."
Have just been thinking about what would happen ifI rolled mine. Not that I'm planning to!! Barrell jump is a piece of pi$$$ hahaha

Haven't rolled a cab but since we are confessing our sins here as well
I rolled a Ford Sierra Laser in a field. Some might say that was an improvement though

My car rolled from the road, flipped on the verge and cleared a low hedge. I'd only had the car back on the road for a week after having an alarm fitted.
The alarm still worked and all!!!!

It was my own field so I was used to spreading shite in it. I have to admit that I've owned 4 sierras though. I know I'm setting myself up for a flaming but I'm a Ford man from youth (from the first time I drove a tractorm-dtech wrote:could you not leave the farmer to spread shite in his field !!Wiggy wrote:Haven't rolled a cab but since we are confessing our sins here as wellI rolled a Ford Sierra Laser in a field.
