If GandS and Euros, bith want that. Chances are thats the price. You could try BMW, as they can be a bit random with their prices and might be a lot cheaper. :?

Get a brand new one as and make sure it's a Bosch!

Fuel at the pump seams to be around 92.8p a litre near me at the shell, which is the cheapest I have seen in ages.

Oh fuel pump in the car.....get it fixed so you can enjoy the cheapish fuel...

There's no point in buying a second hand one, as chances are its just as old as your knackered pump!! Try B&B Components in maidstone 01622677662. I bought one from there, genuine bosch too. Circa £95/100 as i recall. You aint going to get it cheaper than that!

Good luck.

Chris, I replaced the fuel pump on the sport at the same time as it had the cylinder head replaced, probably about 4 months before you bought it from me, replacement pump was a bosch.

Have you checked the soldering? The replacement required wiring to be soldered to the new pump.

i'll check that simon cheers, i thought it strange as it wasn't particularly noisy, even with the rear seat out and the cover plate off it was almost silent, i had to put my hand on top to feel the vibration to make sure it was spinning

i'll give it a look tomorrow afternoon when i get in

Yip, easy job in the end. Though I had to pay the Euro price :(

Worse, the 2nd hand pump which I had cancelled cause it hadn't arrived last Friday as ordered turned-up this morning - cheeky blighters, do you think I'll get my money back!? :?
