afternoon i'm looking for a bit of help & advise.

has anyone got any hints or tips on getting the rear seat base in a 2 door back in place "clipped" down?

i removed mine the other day as the gasket on the fuel pump inspection panel needed to be changed,
got all that done but now i can get the seat base to lock in place.

i can push the seat base back as far as it will go then when i push down i get one side clipped in but not the other side,
but if i pull the clipped in side back up the other side will clip in.

basically i can only get one side in place & not the other,

so, anyone got any hints or tips?
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.

Make sure there's nothing stopping it from going right back.

If all clear push it harder!

Bent it pulling it up? Happens if you pull one side too hard
As above make sure it is fully back, seat belts are usually the culprit.
Left any tools under it? :D

when i pulled it up i had an each end to make sure it was lifted equal,

there's no tools under it & the seat belts are up out the way.
i've got a feeling that horrible looking matting underneath is rucking up at the back & stopping it going back fully.
