Started fine, when running would idle high and slowly bog down until it stalled. Couldn’t reach enough speed to pass people on the highway, then started having problems starting, would take about 6 cranks to turn over. Fuel pump was screaming (external) I replaced the pump, pump relay (after losing power to the connectors) Pump comes on, in tank pump sending fuel. Replaced dis. Cap+rotor, ignition wires, ignition coil and spark plugs. Still no start, I believe it’s my CPS However I cannot find the location of it on the M20B27 for the 85’ anywhere. If anyone knows or can think of any other reason why it wouldn’t start it would be greatly appreciated.Tweakbox Appvalley https://vlc.onl

Without being there and hands on it would be very difficult to put a finger on what is probably a simple reason for your none starter.
You need,; Compression, spark, fuel, timing right and it should start, now which of those isn't working?

All comments by me should be taken in the right sprite, Jack Daniels is fine.

Early M20s have the CPS at the flywheel end of the engine near the top.
