Hi guys
I am changing the two fuel pipes that come into the engine from below the car. Doesnt anybody the diameter or size of these pipes? Its the pipes bringing the fuel to the engine. And the approx lengths of these?
Am i better off buying new from a shop or from a breaker?
Cheers

Fuel hoses

Sizes are 8mm internal diameter/13mm outer diam., and i found 2m was enough to do my car which has fuel-pump just in front of rear wheel.
I avoided Ebay stuff and got Gates hose from local factor for about £4 per metre.
Halfords sell this hose for about £7 per. m.
Or BMW sell it for gawd-knows-how-much.

Someone mentioned these are perfect fit. And E10 compatible. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/382558398973
As for me, they were all redone using genuine hoses from BMW. Probably more expensive but it’s a safety critical part so I didn’t want to gamble.

Do you know if the BMW hoses are E10 compatible? I didn't check when I fitted mine but I do hope that the spec has been upgraded from the original design from 30 years ago
