well, not all done today but mostly there!!!

all i need to disconnect is the auto-box gear selector cable, the exhaust and the engine mounts, then it's up up and away!

a bit of a result really, it's got the full jistory to back up it's 102000 miles!!! the cooland was totally free of shite, all the tyres are good and it has some nice 16" alloys to sell on. :D

also has leather electric ajustable memory seats!!!!, aircon, cruise control, etc etc etc.

as it's on a mates grandads farm, i can't go too overboard stripping it so it'll be going with the seats in (unless they're worth huge money).

re the parts, the aircon was discharged and the belt was removed so it's likely to be stuffed...? i'll have the cruise control off as that looks easy enough. what needs removing to get the full OBC setup? no LSD unfortunately.

turbo-brown, will the M/C fit the E30 then? if so, mine is a bit leaky so i may have it for when i put my 4 pots on... if not then i'll whip if of for you.

I can't remember if I PM'd you (damn that short term memory) but I wondered how much you would want for front calipers (and master cylinder if you're not using it)?

Many thanks,

Has it got MOT on it still? You could try flogging the plate.

Will those wheels fit my e30 with M3 running gear and H&R - 35mm springs? If so which tyres to use and how much for the wheels?

Many thanks..

hehe! as toby said, the car is a donor for the engine conversion that's now well underway :D winkeye

i don't have the cantre caps for the wheels unfortunately but the tyres are all pretty damn good. the wheels are all mint as far as i've seen. in need of a clean but no corrosion or curbing that i've seen at all. i'd take Ԛ£80 for the wheels to get them shifted. according to the wheel fitment guide, they'll be a good fit on a E30 M3. not sure on the tyre size that's best for the M3 though. i think these are 225/45/16 or something.

the m/c and calipers stayed with the car and it's all now probably in a 2 foot cube!!! Ripleys Autos in hastings have an identical one in at the moment though... the m/c fixings were different to the E30 one so wouldn't fit without a load of hassle (the bolt holes are 45 degrees out)

the number plate would have been good for someone with an Audi A6... however, the car had been without MOT for 2 years or so. a lot of work was needed to get it though making it uneconomical. (this was the original intention of the previous owner but it never happened, hence me getting it!

anyone interested in anything, then pm me. i have a spare rad, auto box, torque convertor and every ECU from the thing that i could find! (there's about a million of them!)

The LKM is a fairly common problem so should sell well on ebay.

The LKM controls the front lights and was fitted in the same compartment as the engine ECU i think ? The two metal ECUs are for the OBC and cruise, again i'm not 100% sure though ?

The ones under the seat are for the rear lights and the central locking i think ?

As there are no centre caps, I'll bow out gracefully, thank you. :D
