M20 2.5 with 6 branch, heat shield?

What can I use as a heat shield on my m20, it has a 6 branch and the ht leads sit above it with no shield[/u]

Have you not used an original E 30 exhaust gasket as that has the shield built in and is fine with a 6 branch.

You should be able to use the standard manifold gaskets which have a built in heat shield.

Oh sorry should have read it properly :mad: is it just the studs on the manifold I need to remove? No other parts? 10 min job?

you remove the nuts pull off the manifold, add the gasket then the manifold then do up the nuts
E30 325is with M20B31
