personly id re spray and be very wary of any sub £1000 jobs , save if need be pay for a decent job, but before doing so- remove the wings and take back and re polyurethane seal all inner arches sorting rust etc 1st (rust will be hiding there) , and get the car sorted before forking out for paint
£800 type re sprays are more a mask everything up bumpers left on and blow a coat of paint over with minimal prep work and in an out in a week (as above) with orange peel and runs and whatever polished out and probably not oven baked , may look good but after a winter or 2 on uk roads issues and bubbling will more than likley arrise, and often done without the above rust areas sorting 1st, which of course is ok if you just want it to "look nice" , but if its a car you long to have in the long term, do it justice, also take note of plenty of for sale cars that have had "a full re spray" a year or 2 ago, to then mention "slight bubbling" issues on arches and whatever

because they just gave it a bucket of paint and nothing else
