not exactly common either rav. i bet that there weren't many u.k. cars that had this option fitted.
having said that, i saw a 325SE "scrappage car" in a breakers today, and there was one guy who got there just before me. he had grabbed a fire extinguisher! :cheese:
(but i grabbed the SE skirts, bootlid liner, HLWW kit, fire ext. bracket, r/h/r kit, AFM, ICV and boot, etc., etc. :teehee:

you slept in there adi,
i bet the guy puts it in his kitchen.
did he just undo the strap and take the extinguisher only,or did he take the holder and leave the bracket?

it was quite funny really. he said to me "i know you , you're adi, you bought an Alpina steering wheel off me". (sorry Rav :giggle:)
then i remembered. he's got an M3 project, which he says is now nearly completed. he said he will meet us up on the hill very soon. i'll get some pics, when he does.
anyway, sorry for the :offtopic: mike. he took the holder too, so i had just the bracket, but i've got a couple of ext.s and holders already, as you know. winkeye

No they are not the same , but it doesn't take to much fabricating to make a new bracket to attach the fire ext holder to.
You can see the ally bracket in the close up photo , just made from a piece of L shape alluminium
cheers
