Pulled the throttle body off to be sent off to Byron. Noticed the hose from the TB to thermostat was filled with limescale and completely blocked in the TB housing. So went to remove it from the thermostat and it snapped off. Then realised how much I have to remove in the bay to get the thermostat housing off. MOT's due in a month and the cost of repairs I have has just grown some more

and they all have to draw tickets to see who gets a plate first.
looking at that "BBQ", it looks like it only does half a full plate at a time.

Someone has mentioned that but its an exhaust, im not really bothered that the two pipes are a few mm's out. I could adjust it but what the hell, there are more important things to worry about.diable wrote:

If it's not level, then it's probably that its weight isn't distributed across the various hangers as it should be, which leads to broken exhaust mounts.

No its the german Awron display, im paranoid ( post engine swap) need to know oil, fuel pressure mainly but it does read a few other things too, and is upgradable (via download) to read a lot of the engine conversion data too. Prefer to loose an air vent than cut up the ash tray area, plus a bit more practical at eye level than glancing down on the move.

Looked in through the windows, saw a puddle where the rear bench should be (removed it because it was damp at the weekend)...need to find the source of that leak, damn rain!

Most likely source is blocked drains in the compartment under the hood cover.FinalD wrote:Looked in through the windows, saw a puddle where the rear bench should be (removed it because it was damp at the weekend)...need to find the source of that leak, damn rain!

That would explain the sloshing noise I had the other day too (water in the hood compartment), where abouts do I need to look and also, how do I clear them?
