m3ben05, Id love to know how much you're paying, i'm thinking about having my cab done..m3ben05 wrote:well said mate, my interior is being re-leathered in febuary with will cost £Â£Ã‚£
Many people have asked whats the point in doing it for "some old bimmer" they just dont get it
I had a cloth set retrimed in cloth (I dont like leather) and they were great. There was a fad in the custom car scene where they were going for tweed and it looked really good.Simon13 wrote: every re-trim i have come across on E30's has been with really shit quality leather. An original set in pukka condition are a quality items and worth the money. The leather used on them is lovely

If a leather re-trim (good quality) costs upwards of £1000, how much would it be to re-trim in cloth, using the same cloth as the original seat?
I like cotty, prefer cloth sport seats as opposed to the leather and was intrigued to see what the difference may be?

Neither. I will be paying £700 for a 535 engine, M3 gearbox + prop, and all the associated gubbins, and an E36 steering rack and associated gubbins. With 225bhp I dont think I'll worry about my backside being caressed by supple cow hidejonb wrote: pikey
are you tight or do you not have the money?
Stuff is only worth what people are prepared to pay for it, and as I'm not prepared to pay what people are asking for a touring leather interior it doesnt look like I'll be getting one does it
