Iv'e seen this build progress from day1, been a pasenger and drove it too, (160mph and still pulling strong)
Cornering and handling on this thing is just stupid, i still can't work out what impreses me most after driving and being a pasenger, the raw power, how tight it feels and the handling, the gut wrenching brakes or the ludicrous howl this turd emmits as the power comes on, its an epic chariot belive me..!
Its a pity i can't post up the vid clip of this turd in action for obvious reasons.
C'mon stop teasing Sam.. More pictures please......

Fantastic restoration build there. 100% quality..
Would this ever effect the strength of the vehicle having the front end chopped of n welded back ?
great build actually the best one so far that i have seen on the zone

Come on mate do you think I would drive a car that was unsafe?
The car was unstitched by drilling out all the spot welds and brazing then was all blasted and weld through primed before it was all put on a Celeste jig. Remember the shell is like new 99% rust free how many turds are rust free.........

Im sure Sam has refitted the 'new' front end panels at the original factory joints and not done a drift fix cut 'n' shut style resto

Awesome is an understatement
What management are you running on the S54? The rear of the 316 would make an awesome trailer with some fabrication
I take my hat off to you, this is the best build thread I've seen by far in a long time!

That's no messing around with that set up, think you need to show the width of your rear wheels that helping to put that power down to the road

Yes a bit like Brians' (X-works) just a lot more powerful and surprisingly better on fuel!
Brian is a great guy who has helped me out with some parts for my custom loom.
