Do m3's use 51mm struts and arnt the brakes the same size as 325i

brakes are bigger on the m3, they use 15in wheel minimum, where normal e30 brakes fit under 14s.

If any body wishes to go 5 stud PROPERLY, I have a pair of complete E30 M3 rear trailing arms with brakes etc and a slightly bent o/s front strut (ideal for coil overs0 I also have M3 front brakes and the M3 specific lower strut mounts .

I have gone 5 stud PROPERLY in two different ways.

First I PROPERLY fit E30 M3 parts all round. Later I PROPERLY fit a mixture of E36/7 parts.

Both gave excellent handling. You may be surprised to know that using a mixture of E36 parts has yielded much better brakes, better turn in and higher absolute grip.
