Re shell into a touring that is already under way for the tech 1.
The mummy wagon will be slammed, Scorpion dtm to go on and I have a screen to put in the back to keep Alex happy.
I have a few bit's of bling for the 2 tone tech 2 To make it look nicer on the inside. (If I don't sell it)

Need to replace track rods (came up on last MOT)
Front o/s bearing has been grumbling since December
I'm sure somethings come loose on the arb
Couple of rust patches to fix up
Need to sort engine idle issue, but got spare AFM and TB to try
Though I saw the quote on parts from Zimmer for OE parts...
Maybe when xmas is paid off..

Last weekend i fitted a lower mileage engine and box, with lightened flywheel and z3 gearselector to my 318iS.
Next is to fit a new rear beam with decent bushes, fix all the holes in the exhaust, and invest some money at the bodyshop getting it looking smart.
Oh and trying not to bin it!

Front suspension now sorted.StuBeeDoo wrote:Apart from driving it.....
First job is to get the Recaro's and rear seats all in matching cloth.
Second is to have another attempt at locating knocks in the front suspension (I've already changed everything except the legs and top mounts).
I need to get the scuttle repaired.
An MTech2 front spoiler would be nice.
And hopefully I can get my 2.3 engine project under way.
I think this is the shortest my list has been for the last 4 years.
Making brackets for the SapphCos Recaro's this weekend and the cloth is now on order. The seats should be at the trimmers by this time next week.
I've sourced an MTech2 front spoiler (thanks Tony), I just need to tidy it and do something about blanking the foglight holes.
sort out small rust spots
fit tech 1 kit
get recaro seats finished
fit 325i sport box and diff
smoked lights all round
h and r cup kit
h and r anti roll bars
black out kidney grill sort out crome. ( not sure what im doing with it but doing something)
and maintenance
all if i get enough time and money.

Just changed the water pump, cambelt and tensioner, also radiator. Urgently need to attend to the very lame handbrake, carry out some rustproofing, also learn about Megasquirt so I can competently play with the management system.
