Convertible roof not working
Hi
Convertible roof doesn’t work when pushing buttons when I manually put the roof down I saw some sort of broken cog.
Also when pressing the buttons I can’t hear the motor working.
Any help including how much may cost to fix.
Thanks

Help pricing my e30
Hi
Brought a 4dr E30 saloon I’ve put a tech 2 front bumper and rear bumper fibreglass.
Car starts and drives perfectly no rust on sills or skirts only a little bit of bubbling by the pillar.
A lot of paper work for the car.
How much is this car worth as I want to sell it and buy a coupe.

I do own a 316i with a factory fitted tech II kit - a laguna green touring, but it has a standard exhaust. The only difference between exhaust fitting arrangements across the whole E30 range is the cut out in the rear valance and the tech II kit that covers it. Models with twin tail pipes have a wi...

Re: Cluster Gague problems
Look under the back of the car. In the middle is the differential with a driveshaft going to each rear wheel. On the back cover of the diff. case there is an oil filler plug, and oil drain plug, and an electrical socket with a plug pushed into it, and a cable with two wires going to the plug. It's ...

Re: Cluster Gague problems
If it is the speedometer (not the odometer which shows the distance travelled and is prone to worn cogs) then check the wires from the sender at the back of the differential. The last 10 inches of those can get brittle and snap inside the insulation. Ben Do you have an image of what I’m looking for...
