Convertible roof not working

Hi

Convertible roof doesn’t work when pushing buttons when I manually put the roof down I saw some sort of broken cog.

Also when pressing the buttons I can’t hear the motor working.

Any help including how much may cost to fix.

Thanks

How many miles?
What size engine?
How much MOT?
How many owners?
Any pictures?

When you say you want to buy a coupe I assume you mean a 2 door saloon?

Help pricing my e30

Hi

Brought a 4dr E30 saloon I’ve put a tech 2 front bumper and rear bumper fibreglass.

Car starts and drives perfectly no rust on sills or skirts only a little bit of bubbling by the pillar.
A lot of paper work for the car.

How much is this car worth as I want to sell it and buy a coupe.

Here's the link for the sensor http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showpar ... Id=33_0121 but as jmc says it's far more likely to be a break in the wiring from the sensor.

Look under the back of the car. In the middle is the differential with a driveshaft going to each rear wheel. On the back cover of the diff. case there is an oil filler plug, and oil drain plug, and an electrical socket with a plug pushed into it, and a cable with two wires going to the plug. It's ...

If it is the speedometer (not the odometer which shows the distance travelled and is prone to worn cogs) then check the wires from the sender at the back of the differential.
