Remove Door Card

The door cards are an essential part of the Interior of your E30. Not only do they reduce the clunks, rattles and whooshes of road noise, but they also give you something to rest your arm on while you're cruising. But they do get tatty with age, and they also cover up some critical door components that sometimes need to be accessed. So if you need your door cards off for any reason, here's how.

Remove the lock indicator by unscrewing

Remove the door handle surround by sliding to the right

Remove the two screws in the arm rest

Remove the electric mirror switch

Remove the final screw in the recess behind the mirror switch

Pop the door card off

Removing the door card is necessary if you are attempting to repair your windows or your door locks.
