Removing Pinouts from C101

Need technical Q/A then you're in the right place

Anybody removed the pinouts from the C101 connector on the bulkhead and Engine loom before? whats the best way to get them out without destroying them? and once removed can they be used again? Cheers Dave.

You need this extraction tool from RS- RS part No - 162-2005 approx Ԛ£12

The pins arent easy to remove, even with the tool but you get the hang of it after youve done a few.
You can put the pins back into the plug, but the little tabs on the pin might need bending out again slightly so they hold the pin in place again. You will see what I mean when you get there.

Interesting - didn't know RS did a tool for the job. Got to be easier than messing about with two small screwdrivers.
