I would love to upgrade my M20 to a M50/2 for a number of reasons but do not have the technical ability or location to do it, so does anybody know of who could do this conversion as a turn key option? I understand that with a "money" no object attitude anything is possible but I would have a some what limited and real world budget. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks

Well, you dont need loads more intelligence than your average zoner to read 'M50 Developments' (just a bit more...).

You should read it, get to grips with it and start a collection of bits. Even if you've never weilded a spanner in amger before in your life, it'll be cheaper for you if you get all of the bits you'll need yourself before getting someone to install it all for you. You'll also find it easier on yourself in the future when it comes to diagnosing problems and servicing.

I've heard Ant is very good, you'll certainly benefit from getting a mechanic that has done one of these swaps before, let alone the number he must've done!

The budget has now got me rethinking, need to hit the lotto!

The M20 sounds ok ... a bit "clicky", whilst on holiday I witnessed a NYPD Dodge Charger at full chat ...... now that sounded awesome!! Love the big block thump thump thump!!!

Sounds good but 4.6 for a daily driver!!! Whats a B2.5??? How about a metric Mechanic 2.9 stroker kit or the Ireland Engineering version???
