You ca use M3Z setup (IIRC 312 mm diam) but than you need complite suspension arms. Will be cheaper.

There's something on http://www.300mm.de/bremsanlage.htm
They're using 294mm disks from an E46 328i and std h/brake by the looks of it
As an alternative to the AP kit
Have a look at the Rally Design website for wilwood disks and bells
They usually work out cheaper for the same size disk, bell combo than the AP kit.
Tam, are you still running on the 16's that came wie the car??
If you are, then you'll be hard pushed tae fit anything more than 305mm disks wie them

So the Z3m caliper won't bolt up to the e30 trailing arm ?Yaninnya wrote:You ca use M3Z setup (IIRC 312 mm diam) but than you need complite suspension arms. Will be cheaper.

I'm not 100% but I think the E46 M3 rear brakes will bolt straight onto the ZM hubs.. Need to find out for sure 'cos I'm thinking of keeping an eye out to replace the ZM brakes I'll have all round on the project car.

I'm using a complete E46 M3 rear disc and calliper on the rear of my race car...
Thedisc will bolt up fine to the E30 M3 hub, and the calliper needs a new bracket machined.
Although I'm not 100% sure if u will still be able to use the handbrake as I'm not sure the inner mechanism is the samem if it's not a bolt on thing I would assume it can't be that hard to modify... but dont hold me 2 that.
