Hi guys was just wondering if theres any difference in the header tank s from the e30s and the e36s apart from the look do they all have the same size and amount of pipes, ive loads of bits here but no header tanks all the cars ive stripped have had built in headers cheers just wondering what one to order

Cant speak specifically re: s50, but the M60 i have uses the standard 325 tank on the ns inner arch.

think so managed to get through to gls are a long time talking to machines and they said shud be tomorrow they said the address was wrong but the address she read out was letter perfect they just weren't arsed without a mobile number

It doesn't matter what header tank you use with the S50, but you need the correct filler cap. The S50 runs a higher pressure coolant system, 2 bar if I recall correctly.

cheers just noticed that on the realoem last nite its 2 bar on the e34 and most of the e36s so i can use that cap i think otherwise its another bit on the order list from bm

I'm not sure that the S50 B30 is 2.0bar. I seem to recall that it should be 1.4 , the B32 is definitely 2.0bar.....
EDIT: Yes, the B30 and B32 are both 2.0bar systems.

Hmm.. Could this be why I've blown 2 rads with 2 different engine conversions???
