SO, though I, time to make sure the wilwood brakes fit in them so I fit the brakes to an upright, select a wheel at random and, joy of joys, it all fits perfectly
So I give the wheel a spin and, while the spokes stay a constant distance from the caliper, the rest of the wheel is pissed as a fart! Not just a gentle wobble as though it wasn't sitting squarely, but part of it is mostly concentric, and then there's a massive dip which goes the whole width of the wheel!
I've checked the others and two of them have a slight wobble with the last remaining one being perfectly true
Mr Unix-Nerd from E-bay, you've got a lot to answer for!
Anyhoo, no point crying over Ԛ£190 worth of spilled milk!
1)Is there anything safe I can do to straighten them?
2)Assuming not, what 16" wheels would people recommend? Not wanting to go the alpina route as they'll hide my new brakes too much.
3)Looking through the hand book for the car, it says that the offset for all cars barring the IX is 35mm. Would this translate into an ET35? I only ask because if I've got enough money kicking about, I might well have a new set made up by way of more retail therapy.
Cheers for your thoughts guys.
Alex.
