M50 help

hi guys, i.ve got a 94' e30 touring, i'm going to drop in a m50 block and box from e34 (picking it up over the weekend). Some helped needed, 1:will i still need a cat for the m50 for mot reasons? 2:whats the best prop to use, that bolts on straight and 3: can l still use the same e30 cross member and the mounts? cheers ps there will no doubt be more ?'s when i start the conversion.
