3.64 diff with e36 box...
after readin a couple of bits, what would this be like? i dont see any point being geared to 150mph+ as 100mph is enough to lose your licence, n also even at the 'Ring i wouldnt expect to see much more than 150 down the straights

My m50 Touring was virtually undrivable in first, and second wasn't a lot of use either with a 3.91 diff.
Now have a 3.07, which seems about perfect for my needs (compromise between acceleration and relaxed motorway cruising).
A bit higher would be OK, if your not worried about cruising, but I think 3.64 is still a bit too tall, with the 1:1 5th gear.

well ive got a 3.64 LSD..
and what im hopefully getting comes with an e30 m3 diff...
what sort of rpm were you doing at 70 with the 3.91?
