Hi there to all,

I'm a new member and also new into the E30 'passion'. Would like to know if anyone can help me understand the differences between the 325i and the 325i Sport model. Exterior and interior differences engine, chassis, etc... all i can get would be very heplful guys!

Sport
Exterior - Mtech body kit
Engine is the same but has a different gear box (shorter gears for more accel) and LSD as standard
Every thing else is pretty much the same..... as far as i know

Do you have a part number for that 325I Sport gearbox and for the Limited Slip Diff?

Interior black headlining.

Depends whether it's a facelift or pre-facelift sport too - minor redesign in late 1987.

The main differences between the 325i and 325i Sport are the suspension (25mm lower, Mtech stuff on the Sport), the gearbox (close ratio 1st, 2nd & 3rd on the Sport), the diff (LSD on the Sport), the black head lining, the 15" BBS wheels and the other Mtech goodies - body kit, steering wheel etc.
AFAIK, all of the above with the exception of the black head lining (or so Ive been told) could be specced on any new E30 from the dealer.
