HELP again oil filter wont come off!!!

Why cant i seem to get my oil filter off? Im using a chain type filter tool turning it towards the drivers wheel. The filter is crushing slightly but not budging! Ive even tryd to use a screw driver stabbed through, still no joy anyone have any tips, all info welcome thanks lads

turn the chain filter tool more, it should dig in and dig in and dig in until the filter does budge. And use it somewhere between half way down the filter and where it screws on.

One more thing though lefty loosy righty tighty

My filter was a bastard to remove and the chain wrench tore it up good, was about the width of a stack of 2p coins in the middle where the chain wrench was when I finally got it off.

Ahh so i may of been turning the wrong way doh, so its going to be a butt of a job ok thanks lads will go off down to the rain and wet floor and try again

I use a clever three pronged device that grips tighter the harder you turn it(as the actress said to the bishop).When you fit the new filter,put a smear of grease on the seal and turn it down by hand.Do not forget to check for leaks with the engine running.
