Does anyone know it the MSA have a rule against welding in a bolt in cage?

The only reason i ask is because i have an OMP bolt in cage but it didn't come with any fastening bolts and non of the fixing plates are pre drilled so i reccon it would be a whole lot easier to just weld the thing in......

im just fitting a sparco bolt in.it has come with 4 plates but they dont seem to be of any use.so ive just bolted the back straight down.not sure on the fronts yet.i was wondering if you could just weld around the edge of the base plates and where the sleeves bolt the front and back together .
