I've lined up the crank and the cam as per Bentleys,replaced the tensioner and belt,and when i rotate the crank the cam seems to rotate twice now i,m not sure if i,m 180 degrees out.

Changing my cam belt and water pump on my 88 325 at the moment.Can any of you e30 buffs tell me what the relationship is between the Crank and Cam,does the cam rotate once or twice during a crank rotation?

long time no speak Nick. never seen you or Adam since the first meet at Ferrybridge. hope you're both ok, i hope the car is looking better than than ever now its back form the body shop, you need to bring it to a meet when you get it all sorted.

Yeh, body is done,now got quick shift and power steering, and hopefully new cam belt and water pump (finish to-morrow ?)
