Depending on your luck:
- at least: the cost of a new belt
- very likely: the cost of a headjob
- probably: the cost of a new engine.

You're f**ked dude :(

Depends if the valves hit the pistons or not?

What engine is it?

Could be ok, could be catastrophic! :?

No matter how slow you were going at time of breakage, your value would have touched the pistons, unless you slipped it out of gear within milliseconds.

All you have to do is looks at rev counters and thing how fast those pistons are shooting up and down the bores.

The least your going to have is bent values, recon head is going to set you back probably Ԛ£450 without fitting. So easier and cheaper to find a second hand engine and fit it yourself, pretty easy to do.

If you go down this way, one word of warning..........CHANGE THE CAM BELT

The only cars that i know of which dont have damage by a snapped camblet is the Montegos and Meastreos............so useless info for you lol

Don't forget the Twin Turbo Supras, they're a non-interferance design too!
