Hi all many of you may remember me from a few months ago when i was having clutch problems with my recently converted 325i. Well the reason i aint been on here in a while is that i wrote the car off just two weeks after getting it back on the road!!!!!(il try to get some pics for you, it was a proper job!)
I ended up in hospital and court proceedings shortly followed(no verdict as yet!)
Any way im back with a 316I tourer and im getting ready to swap the engines again!
Just thought id let you all know whats been going on and that i havent lost my love for e30's. Hope you are all well!
Finny

Err yeh it was my fault, i was demonstrating the lack of traction in the rain when power was applied even at around 50Mph in third gear when the back end swung out and i lost it totally. Writing off four other parked cars to a total claim cost of Ԛ£32,000!
Im dreading my insurance cost next year!
I wasnt too badly hurt but my BM was!
I bent the chassis wrote off my two week old genuine radiator, viscus fan, oil cooler etc mostly front end damage but i also caved in the passenger rear quarter as well!!!!
The worst thing about it is that my insurance say that there are new laws which do not allow you to buy the car back if its wrote off! This means that iv gotta swap the engines before they take it away! What a blag!
Still need a few bits to get it read such as radiator, dizzy type thing, viscus, fan and general service bits such as new camm belt ht leads etc.
Its just finding time to do the swap now!!!
