bob s negative feedback-be careful
Moderator: martauto
bought a m3 lsd from bob for £250 and did querry the size of the diff but as he had so many diffs taken apart in his garage i assumed he knows more then me
got the diff home and it was a small case diff which barely fit and also in the 1st 5 miles it leaked from the prop side
told him about it but he isnt willing to do anything about conning me
be carefull this little man is too sneaky

what can you do in this sort of situation? if you know it was ok when you sent it out then why should you refund it because it leaked within 5 miles? its possibly bad luck that it has gone at that time but who could prove otherwise?thats the risk of buying second hand unfortunately.

chit chat he';s had it 2 months, damaged it and tried to blame me..
It's a second hand part it was fine when I sold it end of sorry but why should I be out of pocket when I know it was fine? I bought it from e30spares in walsall advertised as a 4.1 lsd.. was it bollocks!
I know you dont like me but it doesnt make me wrong.
daimlerman.. ask spadge why thats in my sig.. because thats what abuse he gives out when he's not on here
georgee.. you paid £250, it seems that most diffs go for £300 so pop down a box centre and get the bearing changed
o22ie.. what more can I say it worked fine when I had it so therefore it is fine when I sold it.. problems have occured in his ownership so who's to blame? er, him?
eyes, open anyone?
fuzzy, cliffy, nice to see that someone has the same viewpoint as me

Thats a very valid point, no point in having a feedback forum if its not populated. Negative or Positive.fuzzy wrote:the other 2 concerned should be posting up in this section to let everyone know their stories. thats why we have this forum.gorgeee wrote:going of the 2 pm's ive got its not the 1st time hes conned someone

People are too scared to say anything bad on this forum..
I do however request that this be taken down

Bob S. its pretty obvious to all that you and Spadge have history between you but was there really a need to bring him into it?Bob_S wrote:chit chat he';s had it 2 months, damaged it and tried to blame me..

although i do agree with your point of view i dont think it should be taken down unless its sorted ammicably. if its not sorted ammicably then its there for others to make up their own minds in future.

daimlerman... is it so hard to comprehend that I have used the diff so I know there are no noises and I also know that it didnt leak when I had possession of it.
The diff is at minimum 15 or so years old, it was 150 which is cheap for an lsd and plus the fact it's been 2 months since he bought it.
If you dont back down I will threaten you by saying I will rip your face off, seems to be a reasonable way to sort this issue out dont you think?

steve yeah because my neg feedback for his was removed so he didnt have any and I was done out of the money
Daimlerman was throwing insults around I thought he might like to know where they came from.
daimlerman accepted.
How can it amicably be sorted out if I am playing ball and he isnt? I am honest, I cant prove this obviously but I know what I sell and I know it only takes a second for a diff to start leaking.

it cant be ammicably sorted so it shouldnt be removed was my point.if it was removed then the story will linger through the pm system as mentioned above but only one side will be told in that situation. now poeple can see both sides and see that it took 2 months for a complaint to be made and make up their own minds from that.

A small case diff fits just as much as a medium case does, did you put oil in it? Did it look like it had leaked previous to your fitting?
If you want to say your piece you will need to elaborate a bit more
