I assume from that post, you can buy the covers without the tweeters fitted then?amit325i wrote:get new covers, less hassle than injurying yourself with a blade ouch!!!

Sharp knife or a Dremel are the tools of choice for removing the old ones. I use silicone sealer to refit the replacements.
