i have central locking on my 325 and ive just read that when deadlocked from drivers door ,other locks should not be able to be opened. on mine i can open passenger door and boot with the key, ,but after about 2 seconds they lock again is this how they should work ,or is something wrong with my central locking

This'll be a difficult one, eveyones central locking seems to behave in different manners
I wouldn't have thought you should be able to open the doors and boot with the keys still though.
Sorry I can't help fella
