REAR WIPER WIRING??

HELP! as usual!

The rear window wiper will not work on my 316i tourer,(1992 e36),I ran a lead direct to the motor from the battery and all worked fine so I assumed a fault at the switch? The switch lights up green on one half only when the lights are on but does'nt appear to have a power supply connected,I then ran a supply cable from the adjoining heated rear window switch directly to the rear wiper switch and it worked great,only problem was the lighting on the switches went haywire and I lost all of the dial lighting to the dash,(had to fit a new light switch to rectify that problem),anyway I've now disconnected the power supply from the HRW switch but wondered if anybody has any suggestions as how to get a supply to the rear wiper switch????????????/
