Well, I've spotted an inconsistancy in the car chase in Ronin.
To start with it looks all M5, then when the car has rolled the wheels have turned from the flat disc type to the BBS cross-spoke type!

ronin is full of mistakes!

thing is though,
whatever it is that E34 sounds magnificent, as does the 6.9 merc, as does the S8
edit, anyone notice the white (i think) e28 quite late in the M5-406 chase?

Would have that age M5 been a 6 still or a V8? Agreed it sounds brilliant whatever it is

there were both m5 and 535,s used in ronin.on the in car shots the dash needles are white ,not red like an m5.they used the 535 for the stunt driving

Brilliant film though. Wasn't there a mistake when the wipers were on one minute, then off another, and vice versa?
That S8 sounds the nuts too. I nearly bought one after watching that film!

aah yes Ronin, chapter 13 and chapter 21 is where the action is at. Even the XM sounds good on the interior shots with the dude with the briefcase and shades sitting in the back

apparantly all the cars engine noise was dubbed from the same or more powerful versions on a race track - hence why they sound better than normal....im sure its a fact in the DVD extras somewhere....E30BeemerLad wrote:aah yes Ronin, chapter 13 and chapter 21 is where the action is at.
