Is Waxoil in aerosol form any good.

I'm just adding the finishing touches to cleaning under the arches and figured I'd re waxoil them. It's either buy a proper kit with spray gun etc or use the small aerosol's. Does anyone no if there anygood?

can't see a problem there aslong as you make sure you give it a good shake to mix it properley and spray it in all the nooks and cranies

It is fine, i used it on my sport after i had it painted. Used about 10 cans kindly donated from the stores at work!
A pressure fed wax oil gun would be better for hader to get to places like inside sills and chassis rails.

its alot thinner than the proper stuff i use it in work seems ok wen dry just got to put loads on usualy comes with a bendy long nosel to get into awkward bits and cavitys

I rate it for local stuff where a proper air fed wax gun would make a real mess. They are ideal for exactly what your doing. Just apply it to where they all rust, on the inner lip all the way round.


You would never fill a sill cavity effectivly with one though. Thats where a proper wax guun comes in.
