need more advice.fuel prob from before after new tank,pipes

Hi marco again just wanting more info on this fuel problem that i posted earlier.machinic positve that there is no spark getting through to the Spk plugs he is adamant all pipes are connected corectly and none are crushed. he seems to think its a sensor problem in gearbox. this sounds crazy to me as car was running perfecty beforehand with the exception of the petrol leak. cheers marco.
