has anyone got good sound from a standard size, replacement/after market speaker to fit the rear speaker pod's?
i fitted sony 2-ways to my convertable today but still the sound is hollow
ive got a quality Clarion CD headunit fitted, the front's sound fine no need to change them.

should i just go for a duel cone's powered via an amp in the rear?
also i think a bit of mating to behind the rear's will help the magnet sit's to close to the body work ... even with the standard speakers fitted.

Get some tweeters upfront and in the rear...it'll add alot more clarity than just upgrading your speakers. 2 up front and 2 in the rear via some crossovers should make it sound alot better.
