Just wondering what are the prices for a new windscreen rubber seal, and also a rubber seal for around the drivers door of a 318iS coupe.

Is there any special way to fit windscreen rubber seal.

Cheers

zimmerbimmer1 will give you the prices, although there are plenty of perfectly good second hand ones around.
Windscreen seal goes in the body first, then fit the glass with some lubricant. Very easy job; takes about ten minutes.
Then comes the harder bit - fitting the locking strip. Can be done with a couple of small screwdrivers, but your paintwork will be at serious risk from one of the screwdrivers slipping. There's a special tool available that does the job quickly and easily.

The special tool is like a metal ring on a handle, not the best description!
But its not that hard to get, if you know someone that does minis there ll probably have one, but iits a universal tool and re fitting the windscreen is a doddle.
