This is what i have after my coolin system bang earlier , im on about rad pipes , does this mean that the thermostat has seized shut ?
Or could it be a block in the rad ?

undo the bleed bolt on the thurmostat and see if the is any blockages, and you could just take out the thermostst and pour some boiling water over it to see if it opend,

iv just had the simmilar problem with mine mate i just replaced the thermostst and the waterpump just to be on the safe side and all turned out well

the parts are prity cheap from euro car parts. hth

I was gonna try the stat next , did not think about the water pump tho .
where is the WP , IBET IT RUNS OFF THE CAM DONT IT !
Also did you buy each item new ? if so how much where they ?

aaannnddd check your return pipe to the header tank for blockages, be sure to check the bit that the pipe attaches on to aswell mate

nope the water pump runs off the altonator belt mate (replace that aswell)

All sorted , it just turned out to be a shagged thermo , its all sorted now , i put the one in from an old 320 i got layin about , mine is a 325 , it had the same dimensions so i cant see a prob .
