washer fluid light on

hi guys my washer fluid light is on on my check panel the tank is obviously full any idea what the problem is? if it is just a sensor on the tank how easy is it to repair and how much is it going to cost? thanks.

Mine dids this the other day. I must have knocked the sensor when repairing the headlight wash wipes. It had rotated so that the float was floating up when it was full. check it first mate often these things are just silly

My float had turned upside down too when I bought it - i knocked them down over Ԛ£100 expecting a wiring fault, and all i had to do was rotate it 180! You can do it by hand, don't even need tools
