318i Cab Price advice please!!

Does this sound like it is worth Ԛ£2500?, 1991 Hreg, 318i convertable, power hood, 61,000 genuine miles, bmwsh,midnight blue in colour, 2 owners from new, cloth bucket seats, all around good condition, apart from a crack in the rear window, a small dent in the top of the passenger door, and some git has keyed it on the driver side. Also can any body give me any advice on what to look for with regards to the hood, Cheers. oh yea and a brand new mot and 6 months tax.

Was going to say thats a decent price for the miles etc but the bodywork damage should put it down even more than it is.

thats what i thought but the guy sellin it is giving me usual spiel saying that he's taken it to a couple of garages, and they are saying that if it wasnt for the slight damage, it would be worth Ԛ£3000!!!!

if he stands to make Ԛ£500 more than he's asking-why hasnt the work been done?!

simple-the cost of repairs would be circa Ԛ£700
