Have to park my sport up for the next few months,i have a cover for it so that should help somewhat,but there is a few bits of rust on it,and i dont want it to get any worse over the winter!ive heard putting vaseline over those parts should help protect it,but im not to sure!anybody got any tips and ideas for me? :?

Depends where it is. if its out of sight grind/sand it down and get some hammerite kurust on it but dont get rid of all the rust because the kurust needs a little rust to react. once it has dried get some red oxide on there.this should stop the rust untill you get round to a permanant fix. if its on the body work its different...you can do the same but it depends on if your having resprayed or not.

I thought of that,but was thinking it mite be a bit to drastic on some areas of the car,but will defo giv it a shot on some of the areas,thanks! :)
