dim-dip

Need technical Q/A then you're in the right place

i dont want the dim-dip feature so i unpluged the connectors
to the resistors but now "check" lights up,anyway around this?

Are your dipped beams still working as normal?

I think you have to connect the wires back up, but obviously diverting the resistor.

dipped beams are working
is it a case of bridging the 2 connectors to the dim-dip resistors?

I did the same with mine, but I don't get anything come up no the check panel, and everything works as it should.
I think all the resistor pack does is allow a limited curent to flow to the dipped beam lamps when the sidelights are on (from the sidelights power supply, IYSWIM). There is still a separate supply for the dipped beam lamps.
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong...
