It's the 'spigot' in the centre I need to know about, I'm assuming the stud pattern is ok, I don't want to use the wheels, only the discs.

e34 will go straight on, obviuosly tyre profiles will be different. To use e39 wheels you will need hub centrics rings. You can get these from www.tirerack.com based in the US for not much money.
